Anime Pictures

Gomen nesai, I haven't updated in such a long time. Here are some of the pictures I've been drawing!

<- This is Yuji Nakata from Bamboo Blade. Bamboo Blade is an anime and manga about kendo; a Japanese martial-art of sword-fighting. This is not the main character of the anime, the main character is actually Tamaki Kawazoe but my favorite is Kirino Chiba. Tamaki is a prodigy in kendo while Kirino loves the sweat. xD Nice combo, eh? Next picture!

This is Tensai Akazawa Shiraishi. Originally, I was trying to recreate the actual Yuji Nakata that looks younger than the one above, but I decided that would be boring so I used the face and the hair (they're both the same xD) to make him. Not very original, but still works as you didn't really notice the same hairstyles into I pointed it out, right? Anyway, the whole idea of drawing him was so I could practice drawing manga for my next Language Arts project. ^_^' The name "Akazawa" comes from the manga, "Kaichou wa Maid-sama" while "Shiraishi" comes from the anime and manga "The Prince of Tennis" also known as "Tennis no Oji-sama".
Oh yeah, do you think I should put either of these into the newspaper? If so, let me know! xD That's all I have for now, so syanara!

Little Bunny

As all of you know, I've liked rabbits since I was five... =P So I decided to update this blog after hearing about ClawNewspaper, I thought about "Spread the Word" from the library...and I remembered that I had drawn something a little while back (yes, my thought process is long) and decided to post this up. The original picture is 8 x 11 inches but blogger can't hold that much so I had to make it smaller... All I'll say is; "My drawings are getting better."

New and Old Pictures

Hiya, it's Dawn Uzumaki here! With a new update of "Art Gallery!!! :)." Today, we have new and old pictures. These pictures are new to you but old to me since I made them a few months ago but never scanned them in. Beware, some pictures are sideways and excuse the grammar. So here are their descriptions:

**spoiler alert: Prince of Tennis**
This is Kaori from my fan fiction "A Prince of Tennis fan fic: Park", I think (I made that fan fiction a while back, Kaori means "fragrance" in Japanese...I actually was trying to make up a Japanese name and it happened to be an actual word. =/ Though I do not remember what her name is, I do know she is from that fan fiction. ~only made two fan fictions~ >_>). She is a childhood friend of Yukimura Seiichi who is the captain of Rikkai. Yukimura Seiichi is a tennis player of National level. He does not play for most of the anime because of a disease he has (there is a name for it) that consumes his organs. In order for him to survive, a surgery must take place. Even with a low percentage of the surgery working, Yukimura strives to help his team win the Nationals. Even with this in mind, Yukimura can't help but feel a little bit insecure so before he does the surgery he asks for Kaori-- this becomes the start of a fan fiction. Wanting to emphasize my fic, I drew this. Not so bad, but still 'made made dane'. xD The model I used was my memory of anime characters; no wonder why it's pretty bad, eh? ~no comment~ ~awkward silence~ ANYway...my drawing has gotten better since then, so no complaints, 'kay? ;)

This is the drawn version of my drawing, 'Spring'. You can see why I couldn't hand it in like this, no? It has such bad quality... See the computer version in the post below as well as my drawing of Roy from Fire Emblem. The model I used for this is a tulip drawing...I can't 'trace'. =/

As you can see, I used a sticker for my model instead of the usual, standard manga on the internet. The sticker is from an animal reserve place my mom donates to. As you can see, not all of the sticker is enlarged and the edges of the picture are weird, this is because the larger version is with my Science teacher.
If you were wondering, no, I'm not a teacher's pet, I just heard my teacher liked birds and I drew this for her. The real one is as big as one by one and a half feet long. All of it is in colored pencil. Oh, and the nest was too hard to draw so I settled with a brown basket. ^_^'
Now that you know where the original is, you're wondering with what this is, right? Well, before I gave it to her I actually scanned a portion of it in and printed it. This is the second time I scanned it... >_>
Anyway, this concludes my display for this month. See ya soon! =)

No time, no see, people! =)

Sorry I haven't updated in a while... well, here's my work~! =) Oh yeah, and I probably won't do Sakura OR Kakashi... I'm not really into Naruto anymore. ^_^' So here I shall label them... Please click the images to enlarge the picture.

This is "Spring" and I made this during the season of spring (3/23/09 for the original, and 3/24 for this one). I have the original in my room hung up. Yes, the original is better. I literally scanned the picture and on another layer, repainted it so the quality was better; I was entering it into a contest. Oh yeah, and the colors are really off. ^

<- I drew this one today actually. Therefore, I haven't had the time to redraw it so it's really bad quality and you can see all my pencil marks and etc. Hehe, I can never draw lightly. Oh yes, he's Roy the son of Eliwood from the game "Fire Emblem". I drew him once at my cousin's house using a picture I found on the Internet but it was really bad considering the fact the black pen I used was hard to use (~likes drawing over things in pen~) so if I decided to color that version, the lines would stand out too much. Did I mention the sword wasn't even drawn straight?
So if you happen to find a picture on the web similar to this, it's probably because I used it [I 'traced' it (looking at the picture and drawing it).]. Yes, the sword is different from what he usually uses. Oh yes, and please be courteous when talking about my drawings (~cof~ Alina… ), it took me such a long time to get the arms right [not the thickness (though I really should change his arms) but rather how it’s drawn to show depth.]…
Any comments? Questions?
